Why Guild Wars 2 gold failed in China?

The CEO Lee Fillo of gw2goldtaker.com submitted some good suggestions on the Guild Wars 2 gold failed to enter the Chinese market. He pointed out that the environment between China and Western countries is all the difference. That depends on users' structure and market structure.

When asked what reasons led to the Guild Wars 2 gold failed in China, Lee said it's because the Chinese market is too big. Of course, there are plenty of strong competitors.

For example, if we want to sell Guild Wars 2 to Germany, theoretically speaking, English is available for the German to buy items from. But some players may not be familiar with English. Then Guild Wars 2 gold sites may also need to develop an option of language for players to choose. That may be a problem even if there is space to improve, because the market is not big enough, and economic return is not enough to support the investment.

While in China, it is all different. More than half of the Guild Wars 2 players are from China, and the user community is growing rapidly. Because China is so big, it has attracted a lot of talent, capital and entrepreneurs, or any resources you will need to compete with world-class Guild Wars 2 gold suppliers giant. So Guild Wars 2 gold has faced a lot of competitors from China.
